Summer Reading with Beanstack

Sign up your entire family for our Summer Library Challenge. Track the books you read and the activities you do this summer to earn prizes and entries for our drawings. We’re using Beanstack to help you track your reading and activities. To sign up, stop by the library, visit, or Search “beanstack tracker” in the App Store or the Google Play store.

In addition to getting a free book for completing our Summer Library Challenge and experiencing the magic of reading, you can earn entries into our summer prize drawings. Check out the prize options here.

    • Time: 10:30 a.m.
    • Runs: June 18 – August 20 No programs the week of July 4
    • Ages: All ages
    • Drop in program
  • Wacky Wednesdays
    • Location: Platteville Public Library
    • Day: Wednesdays
    • Time: 1:00 p.m.
    • Runs: June 19 – August 21 No programs the week of July 4
    • Ages: Ages 7-11
    • Drop in program
  • Teen Events
    • Location: Platteville Public Library
    • Day: Every other Thursday
    • Time: 2:00 p.m.
    • Runs: June 20 – August 22 No programs the week of July 4
    • Ages: 12-18
    • Registration recommended. Drop-ins welcome if space allows

Readers 0-17: Prize packets and a large selection of prize books will be at the Pirate & Princess Party on Wednesday, August 28 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Platteville Public Library. Whether or not you participated in the Summer Library Challenge, everyone is welcome to come and enjoy an adventurously good time! If you can’t make it to the Pirate & Princess Party, you’ll still get your prizes! Stop by the second floor desk between September 3-30.

Readers 18+: Stop by the first floor desk by September 30 and let library staff know that you finished your Summer Library Challenge to pick up your prize.
