Library Trustee Duties and Responsibilities
Trustee duties and responsibilities include: to serve on committees, to evaluate the library’s long-range plan, to adopt policies and rules regarding library use, to secure adequate funding for the library, and stewardship and accountability in the use of that funding. Members of the Library Board serve as liaisons between the library and the community and advocates for the library.
