Little Free Pantry
The Library is piloting a Little Free Pantry beginning 2025 in our parking lot lobby.
Purpose
The goal of the Little Free Pantry is filling some of the immediate gaps in the food safety net for friends and neighbors who may not have enough to eat, as well as providing a place for those who are able to lend a hand to our community. All are welcome to take home food or to bring in unexpired, non-perishable items according to your need and ability.
How can I help?
You can add your own unexpired, non-perishable items directly to the Little Free Pantry! If you have more than one bag of donations, you can leave it with staff at the first floor desk so that items can be added to the pantry as needed.
What can I bring?
Food must be
- Individually wrapped or unopened containers
- Labeled
- Nonperishable
- Store-bought and packaged
- Unexpired
- Cans and boxes should be undented
I’m looking for more help
Our Little Free Pantry is small and limited in what we can offer. Bricks-and-mortar food pantries in our community are better at meeting further need. Check the links for up-to-date times and dates.
