What is Beanstack?
Beanstack is online software with tools to help you and your family discover books, track your reading, and reach reading goals.
Is there an app?
Yes! Search “beanstack tracker” in the App Store or the Google Play store.
What if I don’t have the ability to log my reading online?
Adults only: stop by the library to ask about being an off-line reader.
Signing Up
How do I get started?
- Website: Visit plattevillepubliclibrary.beanstack.org. Click on “Register an individual or family.” Follow the onscreen instructions to register just yourself, just your children, or your entire family.
- App: Search “beanstack tracker” in the App Store or the Google Play store to install the app. Once you’ve installed the app, search for “Platteville.” Follow the onscreen instructions to register just yourself, just your children, or your entire family.
Who can sign up?
Anyone! We have library challenges for babies, children, teens, and adults.

What happens after I complete my library challenge?
Stop by the Library before Sunday, March 15 to pick up your prizes.
- Ages 0-18: Pick out a free book when you finish. You also get a safety reflector light just for signing up!
- Ages 19+: Pick out a free book and get a free mug when you finish.
I completed every single square on my bingo card!
Way to go! You get a bonus:
- Ages 0-18: You’ll get a ticket to enter a drawing for either three squishmallows, a star projector light, or a $20 Walmart gift card. Make sure to enter your ticket in Beanstack for your preferred prize drawing.
- Ages 19+: Earn a collectible 2026 “Winter Whiteout” button as part of our new Beanstack Buttons program.
Can I participate if the Platteville Public Library isn’t my home library?
You are welcome to participate in our library challenge. However, prizes must be picked up in person and are intended for those who use the Platteville Public Library as their primary library. There are thousands of libraries all over Wisconsin and the country using Beanstack: try searching the app for your local library!
