Support the library
The Platteville Public Library provides a wide variety of services to Southwest Wisconsin. We promote literacy and independent thinking. We serve all sectors of the public, all age groups and all income levels. Public support helps us to meet the challenge of completing our mission. Your donations, public advocacy and our strong volunteer group help the Platteville Public Library remain a trusted source of information for learners of all ages. With your support, we can help people succeed in life.
Donate to the Platteville Library Foundation: Your tax-deductible contribution helps advance library services, builds collections, and improves technology and facilities. Visit the Platteville Library Foundation page to learn about the many ways you can donate to the Platteville Public Library.
Donate Books and Other Materials: We are unable to accept donations of books and other materials as we prepare to move into our new location. We will be able to accept donations again once we have settled in to our new library. Thank you for your understanding and generosity.
Donate Your Time and Talent: There are many ways to provide essential support to the library including serving on the Library Board or the Library Foundation Board of Directors. The Library also has more casual volunteer opportunities such as shelf reading, sorting donations for book sales, and much more. Are you interested in volunteering? Fill out a volunteer application form.
Community Partners: The Platteville Public Library seeks to partner with a variety of educational and community agencies in Southwest Wisconsin for one-time events and ongoing programs.
