The library’s own bike expert, Dan Ellingson, will share his favorite resources for planning bike trips and give you tips about where to ride next.

Bike Safety 101

Registration required. All ages.

Join Carolyn Dvorak from the Wisconsin Bike Fed to learn about proper helmet fit, bike safety, and the rules of the road. This presentation is appropriate for bikers of all ages and experience levels. Optional: bring your bike and participate in interactive bike drills.

Ready to Ride: Bike Prep Class

Registration required. Ages 12+

Anne Linkert from Momentum will teach you how to prepare yourself and your bike for a group ride in this hands-on class. Learn how to pack, plan, and perform basic equipment checks. No bike needed–Momentum will supply the necessary tools and bike parts.
