Pirate rules guidelines for online riddle games
- Be sure to check the page source, page name, URL, and picture names if you are stumped. Some or all of these might contain clues or hints. (Don't know how to check the page source code? Ask a librarian)
- Some clues will lead you to places in the library. Remember your Dewey Decimal and catalog searching skills.
- Other clues will lead you to a word or phrase. When you find that, try substituting it into the URL bar in front of the '.html' part of the address
- Remember, pirate grammar is terrible, so stick to lowercase and leave out the spaces when putting words in the URL.
- If you have to look up a code or search for a riddle answer, try opening up a new window or tab so you don't lose your place in the hunt.
Guidelines aren't enough, though. Every good pirate needs some help navigating the seas. Solve this riddle to find the page that will help you find your way.
