The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-stock, non-profit organization. There are several ways to give major donations to the Foundation to help fund a new library:
- Gifts of cash, securities, or property for immediate or future use by the Library;
- A bequest in your will or living trust;
- Beneficiary designations of life insurance or retirement plan proceeds;
- Gifts with retained income for yourself or others.
Unrestricted gifts help our library to survey is needs and use earnings from these gifts where they are most needed. The priority is a new building to adequately serve our growing community.
As a donor, you may also specify the purpose for which earnings from your gift are to be used, as long as that purpose is consistent with the Library Board’s strategic plan, goals and objectives.
ALL GIFTS TO THE FOUNDATION ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
